Queen provided insight into dynamics between Kate and William’s children in rare admission

The late Queen Elizabeth provided an insight into the dynamics between Kate and William’s children in a rare admission.

The Prince and Princess of Wales share three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

In 2018 the late Queen spoke about her grandchildren when Charlotte was just two and George was four.

In January 2018, Queen Elizabeth gave a signed bible to ten-year-old school student, Emily Clay, who won the book “for a school religious education project.”

During the meeting, the Queen spoke with Clay about her school before asking if she “looked after” her younger sister Hadleigh.

Clay’s mother Ellen said: “It’s the other way around.”

To which the Queen replied: “It’s like that with Charlotte and George.”

The nine-year-old princess is known for her confidence and looking after her brothers during royal engagements.

In May 2023, Charlotte showed affection toward her younger brother by holding his hand as they walked down Westminster Abbey and sat in the front row.

Speaking to GB News earlier this month, royal commentator Charles Rae claimed that Charlotte “puts her brother in his place.”

Rae said: “She’s not only third in line to the throne, but she’s quite a feisty little girl.

The Princess of Wales“And she at times does put her brothers, including George, who one day will be king, in their place.

“She tells them off when she needs to. She was dubbed at nursery school as the warrior princess.

“She’s all sweet and nice and everything else, but she can tell them off if she wants to.”

On May 2, Charlotte celebrated her ninth birthday with a new, smiling photo of Charlotte taken by Princess Kate.
